How much will you Net
If you are like most seller’s you want to know how much money you will get once you sell your home. Believe it or not, most agents do not provide this detail very well to their clients. Many sellers just think they just have to subtract what the commission and perhaps their mortgage balance and that’s what you will get back. We recommend you start planning how you will handle your move before you even list your home for sale so you have a plan for everything from packing all of your essentials, donating old items you don’t want to pay to move, to hiring movers for the big furniture, or just renting a truck if you are going to do that yourself. Use our Moving Checklist to keep track of all the items so nothing gets forgotten about along the way.

Once you finally sold your home, right before closing is usually the time when many sellers finally start to think about the utilities that need to be turned off at the old house and on at the new. No worries, we have a list of all the municipalities and utility companies in the local Metro Detroit area here for you.
